While this game has a few good qualities, most of it so far is just blah.

The good: the story is interesting and the game universe seems like a cool place to be. The majority of the dialog is fully voiced and the voice acting is typical video game quality, but not too bad.

The bad: the combat, while an interesting and different system, is not very rewarding. I mostly run around in circles and mash the attack button. Some of the other combat features, like the power moves and combos, are still a mystery to me.

While the dialog and voice acting aren't too bad, the pacing is. It could be a result of translation, but in any case, the dialog proceeds with large pregnant pauses between segments, ruining the pace and dragging everything out unnecessarily.

Perhaps the most annoying feature of the game is the camera. It is a big 3d world out there, and I am stuck with some kind of overhead camera looking down on my character, severly restricting my view and, frankly, driving me insane. I am constantly looking at the very edges of the screen trying to see what is around me. Why in the hell is the camera not angled down for more of a chase view?
