So far this is a fairly straightforward hack and slash action game. The first two introductory levels are linear and tutorial-ish, which is pretty boring. By the third level, the game starts opening up, allowing you to select a different character and buy different equipment. The level is also pretty open, with lots of streets, buildings, and back alleys to explore, with plenty of baddies to fight.
While I have this on Xbox, I'm playing the PC version. Of course on my modern PC with everything maxed out, this game runs smooth. However, the hit detection seems pretty dodgy.
