Absolutely amazing! The story was engrossing, the characters memorable. The fighting was great and the summons just kept getting bigger and more amazing as more were added.
I never beat either of the two weapons (Emerald or Ruby), though, and missed probably quite a bit of the secret content.
Even despite that, this game was simply the best RPG I have ever played to date. And the sad part is that I had the game for litterally years, since its release, still shrink-wrapped, but I never played it until recently.
This blog is way after the fact, so I can't make any specific points about the game. Only the sweeping generalization that it was stunning.
